SeoulGlo ("we," "our," or "the App") is a K-Beauty AI skin scanning application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our App.

2. Information We Collect

• Camera & Photo Access: To perform skin analysis, the App accesses your device camera or photo library. Photos are captured and sent to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) for processing. Photos are not shared with other users.
• Skin Profile Data: The App collects and stores detailed skin profile information including your skin type, skin concerns, sensitivities, scan scores, and AI-generated assessments. This data is used to provide personalized insights and track your skin health over time.
• Chat & Questions: When you interact with the AI skincare assistant, your questions, messages, and conversation history are sent to OpenAI for processing. This may include references to your skin profile, concerns, and product preferences.
• Account Info: We use Firebase Authentication to manage your account (Email/UID).
• Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data (features used, scan frequency) to improve the App experience. This data is not linked to your identity.

3. How We Use Your Data

• AI Skin Analysis & Chat: Your photos and skin profile data (skin type, concerns, sensitivities, and scan scores) are sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI analyzes your skin, generates assessments, K-Beauty product recommendations, and provides personalized skincare chat responses. Photos are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers unless you choose to save a scan.
• Trends Analysis: Your aggregated scan history and skin scores are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI service to generate skin health trends and progress insights over time.
• Personalization: Scan history is used to track your skin health journey and provide tailored recommendations over time.
• No Selling of Data: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or photos with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Scan Data: Your scan history is retained as long as your account is active so you can track progress over time.
• Account Deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data (including scan history, photos, and recommendations) at any time via the Settings menu in the App.

5. Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google): For database hosting and user authentication.
• RevenueCat: For managing your subscription. We do not store or see your credit card information.
• OpenAI: We use OpenAI's API to power AI skin analysis, product recommendations, and the skincare chat assistant. The following data is sent to OpenAI for processing: your photos, skin type, skin concerns, sensitivities, scan scores, and your questions or messages. • Anthropic (Claude AI): We use Anthropic's Claude AI service for skin health trends analysis. Your aggregated scan scores and skin profile data are sent to Anthropic to generate progress insights. 6. Children's Privacy

SeoulGlo is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
