Your prayer history
Judah keeps your prayer history, notes, recaps, streaks and settings on your device. Optional AI features send the inputs described below to our service; optional community posts are public. Judah does not sell your data or display ads.
AI processing
Personal prayers send your selected mood, optional note, denomination, language and recent prayer openings through Supabase to Anthropic. Recaps send prayer topics and summary counts. The application does not save these AI request bodies in its database. Infrastructure and AI providers process requests under their own retention and security policies; we do not promise zero provider retention. Avoid including information you do not want processed by these providers.
Voice and Screen Time
Version 2.0.1 requires on-device speech recognition and does not send microphone audio to a server. When on-device recognition is unavailable, use written prayer instead. Earlier versions used Apple speech recognition without requiring local processing. Transcripts are saved locally; in 2.0.1 they enter AI recaps only if you choose to remember that text. Screen Time selections are managed using Apple privacy-preserving app tokens on your device.
Anonymous identity and purchases
Version 2.0.1 creates an anonymous Supabase identity without an email or password. Its credentials stay in the device Keychain. We retain identity-based request counts and moderation records to limit abuse. Apple processes payment, and RevenueCat manages purchase records and subscription status linked to an app identifier. We do not receive your card details.
Community posts
A chosen display name, post, generated intercessory prayer and reactions are stored on our server and visible to other users. Posts are processed by Anthropic for moderation and prayer generation. Version 2.0.1 ties posts, reports and blocks to the anonymous identity. Do not post private information about other people. Content may be hidden for review or removed for abuse.
Diagnostics
Version 2.0.1 records aggregate feature counters locally, without prayer text. Infrastructure providers may process technical logs such as request time, IP address and errors to operate and secure the service. Provider processing is separate from the local feature counters.
Export and deletion
Version 2.0.1 offers an export of Judah prayers and retained Soulwell journals, prayers, coach messages and reflections. Local history and settings can be deleted from recovery and data controls, including without a subscription. This clears local content, caches, notifications and blocking. The Keychain security identity is retained to preserve subscription association and abuse controls. Public posts and server security records are separate: delete your own posts from their menu in 2.0.1, or contact us for older posts and data requests. Deleting the app does not by itself remove server records or necessarily remove Keychain credentials. Keep an export before replacing your device.
Access and privacy requests
Contact us for access, correction or deletion requests concerning server-held data, with enough information to identify the relevant posts or app identity. Some security or transaction records may need to be retained for abuse prevention or legal obligations. Judah is not directed at children under 13.
